I grew up loving animals, and from a young age knew I wanted to work with them. I started my journey working at Butterfield Acres where I was given an opportunity to work with all creatures great and small and knew that I wanted to begin a career in veterinary medicine.
In 2016 I received my Technician Assistant diploma from Olds College, and began working as a TA. I spent 5 years as a TA in general practice before returning to Olds College for the Animal Health technology program which I graduated from in 2022 and began my journey as an RVT. I recently joined the CAC team and have greatly enjoyed working with a dynamic team of professionals and having the opportunity to work with both large and small animals. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and expertise in equine medicine and love that no two days are the same at CAC and each day I learn new things and meet new clients.
I currently have a cat, named Bad Cat (who is a handful as his name suggests!) and hope to add more furry friends to my family in the near future! When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time hiking in the mountains, immersing myself in a good book, and hope to expand my interests in horseback riding and archery!
